Buying a home or property? Here's why you should hire me to help!
If you hire me, that’s exactly what you’ll get: Me.
No one else drafts your documents on my behalf. Why is that important? Because the documents are what the entire transaction are based upon and I want them to be correct, what we talked about, and what you expected to see. And, if they’re wrong, I want you to know that it’s my responsibility to get them right.
No one else answers your real estate transaction questions, either. As a Broker and Instructor, I have a team of people (and the industry at large) who rely upon me for answers to the trickiest & stickiest situations. My clients get the benefit of that knowledge without delay or filter.
And, hey: I’ll be the one to schedule your showings, too! Accountability is of the utmost importance to me, and I expect my clients to expect it from me.
Buying a home can be an emotional process, especially when you factor in how many complications are possible from A to Z (that stands for Appraisals to Zoning in Realtorese).
You’re already helping to prepare for this process by researching me as a Realtor® – good job!
I hope to be your advocate in this process. When you’ve found the right property in the right place at the right time for the right price, it’s important to have people on your side who can work to negotiate through inevitable issues and provide novel and creative solutions.
A lot of the value that I bring to the table isn’t just the years of experience and thousands of transactions in which I’ve been involved, but my relationships with partners and affiliates in the industry.
The people I work with tend to value the same things I do, like, responsiveness, integrity, and accountability, to name a few. When you need a recommendation for a lender, or maybe a home inspector, you can rest assured that I trust the people behind the names and cell phone numbers I give to you.
My job is to help you find and purchase a property that fits the Home Buyer’s Trinity: your needs & wants, your budget, and your timeline.
It is NOT my job to sell you a house.
As a fiduciary, I’m invested in discovering and understanding what you’re looking for in your next home – even if you don’t quite know the answer to that question yet either. On the other hand, it’s also my duty to point out what doesn’t match the requirements of your Trinity, so, I’m just a likely to tell you what’s wrong with a house as I am to tell you what’s right about it.
And, with a service area crossing 10 counties and virtually every hill and holler along the I-49 corridor and beyond, I have the experience and perspective to fill you in on what might meet your requirements – even in areas you might not have even considered – even if it’s a lower priced offering.
Trust is important in this business – I’ve closed multiple transactions for out-of-state buyers who’ve trusted my guidance and finalized their purchases without even having stepped foot on the property, only seeing it as narrated by me in a 360-degree video. That level of trust doesn’t come from a sales pitch.
So, you’ve found the right property that meets all your requirements. Stepping through the front door of your future home for the first time is a great feeling, right? But now that you’re excited, how do you position your offer to the seller? How do you make it competitive while also protecting your interests? The experience I’ve gained over the years from literally thousands of real estate contract negotiations paired with the knowledge and vision I bring as a Broker and Instructor give my clients an advantage when the offers hit the table.
Thereafter, the attention to detail I provide along with my communication skills keeps the transaction moving forward. If you’ve ever bought or sold real estate before, you know there’s many a slip between the cup and the lip – timelines are important and keeping all parties informed of next steps and go-do’s is an often overlooked, but totally vital service that I provide my clients.
